The intervais of the ribs are dotted with punctations, which are small and very numerous, and run into each other so as to produce a sort of runing pattern. Length nearly 1/2 inch; breadth about 1/4 inch. Hab. California. W. Newcombe, Esq ; Mus. Brit. » Par la forme des valves et la structure de leur surface cette espèce ressemble beaucoup au Cyzicus californicus (Pack) et au Cyzicus tetracerus (Kryn). S. A. Pr/r/r/vï/Fa comparée au Çyzicus californicus (Pack), en le maintenant comme espèce propre. A mon avis il n'est pas impossible que les deux espèces, pro- venant de la même région, soient réellement synonymes.
