Now Blooming – Late Spring

PEAK BLOOM in the
Garden NOW

We are at PEAK BLOOM! Everywhere you turn in the Garden is another beautiful vignette, or wide swath of color! “Where the wild things grow” is the tag line for the RSBG because we are all about the wild i.e. species rhododendrons.

Loads of tropical and subtropical rhododendrons and companion plants are responding to our lengthening days and are flowering in the sheltered conditions of the Rutherford Conservatory. In addition to the plants in the photos below, Rhododendron magnificum and Agapetes smithiana are blooming. It’s a great time to visit and enjoy these tropical beauties!

There’s lots to see in the Garden too!
