We're Getting Married!

On our five year anniversary, in July 2017, Dominick decided it was time to make our commitment official. I was home for the summer after my first year of law school in Phoenix, and we could not be more happy to be reunited. We both knew we were forever. Dominick woke me up on a Saturday morning at 5:30 am for a hike, a bit earlier than our normal start time. I had a sneaking suspicion something may be coming, with how eager he was to get going on time. We drove toward the Mt. Rainier National Forest, and hiked up to High Rock, where at the top you could see three peaks, Mt Rainier, Mt St. Helens, and Mt Adams. It was breathtaking. Alone at the top (because we had gotten up so early), Dominick asked me to stand for a panorama photo. While he placed his camera to capture the shot, he set it to record instead of take a photo. Dominick walked down the slope, handed me a letter and waited for me to read it. At the end, the letter said "Look up, I have a question for you." Dominick got down on one knee, asked me to spend the rest of my life with him, and I said YES! We cannot wait to start our life together, and are so happy you all will be celebrating with us.
