- Growing conditionsMoist to dry well drained soils in dry to damp forests and heathlands. Tolerates moderate frosts. Semi shade to dappled shade.
- Garden useOrnamental species with prolific floral display. Plant under established trees. Tolerates extended dry periods but requires summer watering if grown in full sun. Pruning from young plant promotes bushiness, can be hedged.

- Conservation statusSignificant within the Shire. Known from very few local sites where it is common to scattered. More common outside the Shire boundary.
- Related speciesThe pea plants can be difficult to identify. All Pultenaeas have stipules, small leaf-like structures, on the stem at the base of the leaf.
