  • FlowersFlowers paired, tiny male and female flower in opposite leaf axils, male flowers reduced to 1 stamen, female to 2 styles and ovaries. Very narrow wing on fruit.

  • Growing conditionsMoist to wet soils on floodplains. Dappled and full shade.
