Description

Flowers bluish-violet, solitary.
Leaves
Ovate leaf is egg-shaped, wider at base, Lanceolate leaf is lance-shaped: long and widest in the middle. Egg-shaped to long, pointed, opposite on the stem; shiny, dull green, with hairy margins, 4 cm.
Fruits Seeds
Capsule: forked, 4-5 cm.
Medical
Flowering plant: generally used to stop bleeding, internally as well as externally, reduces blood pressure and dilates coronary and peripheral blood vessels.
