911 call concerning LMPD officer accused of beating wife released

Jonathan Osborne, an LMPD officer, was arrested on Feb. 1 and is facing multiple charges.

(WHAS 11)--The 911 call a witness made the night a Louisville Metro police officer is accused of beating up his wife has been released.

Jonathan Osborne was in court Feb.5 in Clark County charged with battery, resisting law enforcement and criminal mischief.

Police say Osborne and his wife were leaving a super bowl party on Feb.1 when their car crashed in Sellersburg.

Investigators say Osborne got out of the car and attacked his wife.

A witness made a 911 call the night Osborne was accused of beating up his wife and the call has been released.

The caller's boyfriend is being praised by the Clark County Sheriff's Department for keeping the officer subdued.

Officer Osborne's wife suffered a broken arm and a no contact order has been issued.

Osborne has been suspended from the police department without pay.

We did obtain a copy of Osborne's personnel file that shows he was involved in shooting in 2008.

The shooting was justified and he was exonerated.
