After three children and over a decade together, Josh Hartnett and his partner Tamsin Egerton decided to make things official, quietly tying the knot last year.

The Black Hawk Down actor's representative confirmed the happy news that the two stars had wed in November 2021 after The Sun first reported on Saturday that they had gotten married at London's The Old Marylebone Town Hall in the Soho room which only seats 12 people. A friend of the couple told the outlet, “They’re as smitten as ever and wanted to make it official in a low-key affair. It was a classy ceremony with only a handful of close family and friends.” They added, “They’re really happy living a low-key life away from showbiz parties and red carpets, so [they] are happy to fly under the radar.”

Hartnett and Egerton first met in 2011 on the set of The Lovers and have been together ever since. They share three children together, a daughter born in late 2015, another child born in 2017, and a third that arrived in late 2019. Hartnett previously shared how much fatherhood has meant to him during an appearance on Live! With Kelly and Michael in April 2016, confessing to the hosts that, “It puts things in a totally new perspective, of course. Your ego just melts away when you have a new kid—your heart leaves your body, and you give it permission to walk around with someone else for a while.”

In a January 2021 interview with Mr. Porter, the actor added that, “The thing I am most proud of is that I’m a father of three and I have a good relationship with my partner and a great family life and I’m still able to do good work and, as I’ve got older, the characters have become more interesting.”
