Whether you have an Odessa, Ticto, or other cross, they all have the same needs, behaivours and sizes. The Ticto barb is a hardy and adaptable fish which will mix in well with a community of other fish and will adapt to most aquarium conditions. The red colouring along the centre of the body intensifies during breeding and is more prominent on the male. The fish is a temperate species and can be kept in unheated aquariums.
