Robinia Pseudoacacia 'Umbraculifera'

A small tree with a spherical crown up to 5-6 m in height and width.

Planting Tips

It is able to withstand poor, dry soil. Needs a sunny position. Grows in any soil except very waterlogged conditions. So make sure you don't over water it and that if exposed to the wet elements it'll get the sun to dry out.

Umbraculifera' is always grafted on a stem, at heights between 1.80 m and 2.50 m. The branches do not have any thorns.

The green leaves are smaller than those of the species, as are the leaf segments. Keeps its leaves long into the autumn. It doesn't produce flowers and grows well in light, calcareous soil.
