Ludwigia Repens stands out as an effortless addition to any aquarium, offering a hassle-free option for enthusiasts seeking to infuse vibrant colors into their aquascape. Positioned ideally in the midground or background, these plants serve as captivating focal points with their vivid hues. Sporting oval leaves arranged in alternating pairs along a tilted stem, Ludwigia plants display shades of gold, orange, or red, influenced by tank conditions. Planting them in bunches of 10-12 stems enhances their allure. Typically Red will apear on the underside of the leaves.

While Ludwigia is adaptable, achieving its vibrant colors requires ample lighting and nutrient levels, with higher iron content accentuating red tones. Although not mandatory, CO2 injection can bolster growth. While capable of thriving both submerged and emersed, cultivation proves more challenging in the emersed state.

Propagation entails taking cuttings from the main stem and replanting them into the substrate to foster new growth.
