Cydonia "Face on Mars" Diorama

It's been a while since my last post. Here's a sneak peek at the latest project I've been working on... the mysterious so-called "face on Mars", or rather, the outdated speculative depiction of the curious structure long before we got more detailed topographical data. Still, it's a fascinating formation that still sparks the imaginations of many, including my own. So here is a look at my artist's "what if" interpretation of the Cydonia "Face on Mars".

Thanks for the kind feedback! I'm already putting the final touches to the sculpt. I decided to get a little more creative and add some design elements to the outer edges. The bottom edge features runes of an ancient Martian language. The other edges I sculpted to look something like cyclopean masonry.

Funny enough all my rulers and tape measures have magically disappeared but I'd say it's roughly 6" x 6". Not too big to fit on a desk, but not too small either. Happy medium.

Thanks Frosty! This was definitely one of my favorite projects I've worked on. It was pretty fun.

I do! Though I'm sold out of them for the time being. I do however have a couple of them primed and ready for painting. I'm just sidetracked on some other projects.
