  • Size: Adults can reach up to 2.5 to 3 cm (1 to 1.2 inches) in length
  • Lifespan: Up to 10-15 years in captivity
  • Housing: A well-ventilated terrarium with a secure lid, at least 45cmx45cmx45cm in size for a pair of frogs. Provide plenty of hiding places, live plants, and a shallow water dish.
  • Temperature range: 22°C to 28°C (72°F to 82°F) during the day, with a 3-6°C (5-10°F) drop at night.
  • Humidity requirements: High humidity (80-100%). Use a substrate that retains moisture, such as coconut fiber or sphagnum moss, and mist the enclosure regularly.
  • Lighting: Provide 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness. Use full-spectrum lighting to simulate natural sunlight.
  • Feeding: Offer a variety of live prey, such as fruit flies, crickets, and springtails. Dust prey with a vitamin and mineral supplement.
  • Handling: Avoid handling the frogs as it can hurt their skin.
  • Common health issues: Skin infections, parasites, and nutritional deficiencies. Regularly monitor the frogs for signs of illness, such as loss of appetite, lethargy, and abnormal behavior.
