Yarrow Yellow (Achillea Filipend. Gialla)

Achillea Filipendulina, Yellow Fernleaf Yarrow. Perennial plant. Rustic variety, easy to grow about  Achillea has yellow flowers on stems to 4 feet tall and ferny, silvery foliage. Produces flowers in the shape of an umbrella and an intense yellow color. Suitable for gardens and balconies, it blooms throughout the summer. It enjoys sunny exposures and is suitable both as a flower to be cut and to be dried.  Great for cutting, drying, landscaping. Blooms in early summer the second year.   Lasts over a week in the vase without water. To dry, hang upside down until stiff and then store in a dry place for use in autumn arrangements and wreaths.
