We sell R. aquaticum grown carpets of moss. Your moss will be dehydrated for shipping and when she arrives you simply rehydrate her, we recommend attaching to a rock with fishing line or mesh before rehydrating the moss.
R. aquaticum can grow as long 10 cm, she is full light to partial shade. A perfect water feature moss who attaches easily to rock. She will also grow fully submerged as and rock carpeting moss but will not spore underwater as she need to go through a period of dehydration for stimulation. She has little-branched, olive-green shoots. The 2–3 mm long, narrow, round-tipped leaves without a hair point.
Habitat
R. aquaticum typically grows on vertical, siliceous rock faces on exposed or shaded mountain crags, on tors, or in gorges. Less often, it is found on flat surfaces or the sides of boulders. -
