The cut-out trend is still going strong, and Joey King is the latest celebrity to give it a spin. The actor went bold for a day out in New York City in a sleek midi dress with a plethora of cut-outs at the chest and waist.
King, who is currently promoting her new movie We Were the Lucky Ones, was spotted out and about in the East Village wearing a pale gray bodycon dress with cut-outs near the shoulders and ribcage, letting her skin peek through. The dress in question is Dion Lee's Harness Bra Midi DresHarness Bra Midi Dress, so named because the cut-outs create a harness effect. The ribbed skirt hit just below King's knee, and the long sleeves ended in fingerless gloves. The cut-outs aren't limited to the front of the dress, either; it's also missing a large section of fabric at the back, plus a small semi-circle just above the back zipper. According to the brand, the sleeves are actually detachable, giving you more options for styling. The dress originally retailed for $1,200 but is currently priced at $839.
King styled the daring dress with clear, rhinestone-studded Christian Louboutin heels reminiscent of Cinderella's glass slippers and a sweet mini bag. She wore her hair long in loose, undone curls and fresh, pretty makeup.
