« I often have my head in my colors, but my feet are firmly planted on the ground. »
Benoît Guérin, an award-winning French painter, defines abstraction as a better playground for his artistic expression. He approaches his creative process with a sense of urgency, producing, erasing, then starting over again, often recycling his canvases. Guérin is only satisfied with a piece when the ‘final touch’ is achieved. He works mainly with acrylics, and sometimes mixes other mediums including ink.
