One photograph with the name of the photographer, G. Maillard Kesslere, at the bottom left corner of the recto, as well as a stamp for the photographer, manuscript pencil annotation identifying Huston, a reference library stamp, and a stamp dated May 6, 1936 on the verso.

The patriarch of the four generations of Hustons in film, Walter Huston won an Academy Award in 1948 for Best Supporting Actor in "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre," a film directed by his son. A stage actor in vaudeville and on Broadway in the 1920s, he transitioned to talkies in the late 1920s and early 1930s. He is best known for his roles in "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre" (1947), "Dodsworth" (1936) and "All That Money Can Buy" (1941).
