Steve D Melodrama that doesn't give Lombard enough to do. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/03/24 Full Review Audience Member The story is pretty ordinary but the dancing is superior and Carole Lombard is a knockout. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review bill t INTERESTING movie here as George Raft plays a playboy dancer never happy with what he's got. He wants more! And that includes his dancing partners! He soon settles in with Carole Lombard though. But wait! The war starts up and he's wounded! Will he be ok for his big finale number during the re-opening of his club? This was a bit silly and melodramatic, but it got more interesting (and silly) as it went on, so it was an enjoyable distraction.
