Jumping guard
A jumping guard prevents (nocturnal) fish from jumping out.
Wrasses, blennies, hawkfishs and gobies jump out of an unprotected tank in fright if their night rest is disturbed, unfortunately these jumpers are found dried up in the morning on carpets, glass edges or later behind the tank.

A small night light also helps, as it provides the fish with a means of orientation in the dark!

Habe vor einer Weile, als die Art noch nicht beschrieben war, zwei der Tiere, fälschlicher weise, erhalten. Als sich einer dann zum Männchen wandelte, wusste ich zumindest, dass es sich nicht um die bestellte Art handelt. Im Prinzip ein einfach zu haltender Fisch, welcher bei aufgestellten Flossen, im richtigen Winkel zum Licht (irisierende Farbe der Schwanzflosse) wirklich was her macht, aber dies sieht man dann auch nur für eine Sekunde, denn es ist leider ein typischer Vertreter aus der Cirrhilabrus naokoae Gruppe, sehr hektisch und wenn in Balzstimmung wird eigentlich jeder andere Fisch angebalzt - gejagt.
