SCIENTIFIC NAME - Dendrochirus barberi
COMMON NAME - Hawaiian Red Eye Lionfish (Hawaiian Green Lionfish, Turkeyfish)
SIZE - 6-6.5" ( ~16.5 cm)
MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 30 US Gal. ( 114 L)
FOODS AND FEEDING - Readily accepts prepared foods. Meaty foods such as silversides, scallops, lobster, shrimp, etc. Feed 3-4 times a week (more frequently as juveniles).
REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will eat shrimp and smaller fishes. Otherwise and excellent reef inhabitant.
CAPTIVE CARE - Similar care to that of the Fuzzy Dwarf. Warning Venomous
