Description
A rare endemic of the Caucasus related to Anemone blanda but with several differences, it has a much smaller corm and consequently smaller growth, densely pubescent growths, paler flowers (powder blue rather than deep blue) and more petals in each flower.
A charming but rarely offered species considered endangered in parts of its wild range, and thus we stress that these tubers are cultivated, propagated stock. It makes TINY tubers, pea-sized is large, petit-pois are the norm, but these are adequately flowering sized.
