A smallish, recently described Ravenea from Madagascar that was originally discovered by our collectors. It is clearly related to Ravenea glauca but with more numerous, very finely divided, Cycas-like leaves. We think it has enormous potential for horticulture. Unfortunately the seeds are quite perishable and will not survive any desiccation.
