A spectacular, largish western Australian cycad with a stocky, barrel-shaped trunk. It has attractive, upright leaves with narrowly spaced leaflets that are dark green or glaucous in color. Suitable for well-drained sites in temperate or subtropical areas and will tolerate cool conditions in winter, as well as moderate freezes.
