A dwarf succulent native to South Africa's Northern Cape Province that forms clusters of thick, beige, club-shaped leaves with flat, heavily fissured tips and yellow flowers. Lithops hookeri is one of the larger and faster growing species in the genus. In cultivation it does best in drier, warm temperate climates. Lithops is adapted to sparse winter rains and is dormant in summer.
