Superb, medium-sized cycad from KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa with an erect trunk rarely to 3 m (10 ft.) tall that holds a crown of ascending, thick, glossy green leaves. Suitable for tropical and warm temperate regions, and tolerates light frosts. Fresh seeds need several months to mature before sowing.
