This elegant member of the Iridaceae family, endemic to southeastern Australia, presents slender stems, thick and compact clusters of stiff, dark green leaves, beautiful white and yellow, discretely perfumed flowers, followed by oblong fruits capsules which split at maturity, releasing the brown seeds. It is frost tolerant and should grow well in temperate gardens in USDA Plant Hardiness Zone 7 and above. It also makes an excellent pot plant.
