A stunning, rare, moderately large cycad from grassy woodlands in the southern Gregory Range in northern Queensland, Australia with a beautiful, rounded crown of strongly keeled leaves with relatively broad, blue leaflets. In cultivation it prefers hot, humid summers and warm, dry winters, and can take moderate frosts without damage. An open, sunny position and excellent drainage will ensure its successful growth.
