Pundamilia nyererei

One of the most popular cichlids collected by hobbyist is the Pundamilia nyererei for their beautiful color variations. They are a semi-aggressive fish that can live in a harem of one male per two female fish. They originate from Lake Victoria and will adapt well to aquariums that resemble their natural environment. Thus, make sure their new aquarium home has a bed of sand or fine rocks and plenty of rocks structures that provides places for this cichlid to find refuge.
