The bright and elegant Lionhead Red Goldfish is one of the most popular goldfishes due to their missing dorsal fin and the development of head cap as it matures. Care for the Lionhead Red Goldfish like you would care for any goldfish. Make sure to provide them with a large aquarium because they can grow in size very fast. They do best in a single species aquarium. Ensure that the tank and water quality are maintained in good condition. This fish produces a lot of waste; and if the tank water is not kept clean, it can impact its health. Water temperature should be kept at a range of 68-74 degrees. Feed it high quality goldfish specified flakes to maintain it in optimal health.
