Melastoma affine AlbaAPPEARANCE : White flowers with bright yellow centres above large oval shaped foliage covered with tiny hairs. Flowering peaks during summer. USE FOR:  Small hedges, pots and feature planting; native and wildlife gardens. PLANTING : Plant in well drained soil in a sunny position. Mulch and water well until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. CARE : Prune after flowering to encourage dense growth habit and continued flowering. Reapply mulch and apply a slow release fertiliser during spring. Drought tolerant once established. HEIGHT & WIDTH : 2 m H x up to 2 m W. YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
