Hector's Tree Daisy (Olearia hectori), a densely twiggy, spring-flowering deciduous shrub native to the northeastern South Island of New Zealand, where it is now rare in the wild. It can grow to over 6m tall and its small, mildly scented, cream flower-heads open in spring to early summer, usually first appearing before or with the new leaves.
