Chunky spindle or Pseudophoenix vinifera

redant

Recommended Posts

saw this palm from a distance, there was a couple others as well, super chunky. I at first thought vinifera, then i saw one with flower stalk not open ets and seemed like they might be spindles. I have never seen the stalk of vinifera so not sure which it is. Anyone have a pic of vinifera with flower stalks?

I’d say it’s a spindle. A very nice one too.

It's a spindle, used to be very common in my area but most have been replaced now. GOK why.  Not very hard to find, a lot of good nurseries around here still sell them.

Peachy
