Josh (Jdiaz31089) expressed interest in pics of this hybrid. Been a great grower in my yard to date, and no issues with hardiness so far. Not far off trunking?

I'm getting well in to Syagrus hybrids...

Awesome, thanks for the visuals! It looks very upright, perhaps a trait of the vagans parent. Do the fronds recurve at the end? It looks like they do in the picture.

From seed sprouted in 2000, it remained a seedling for many years. It's been in the ground fifteen years and is seven feet tall. Base of trunk is seven inches. At the rate it's growing now, I think it will double in size in five years. 

One thing I found out in the last couple of years is its need for water and lots of it. It's growth sped up remarkably when watered every other day in summer instead of biweekly.
