It must be Areca triandra we bought at Peradeniya garden center since it doesn't look like A concinna we have here in the wild.

Looking forward to seeing how it grows. We planted it as a small 30 cm seedling in 2012.

Me too, it's the only one that actually grows here for me. Just a whole lot slower than in your part of the world!
