Regarded as the “King Anthurium”, this beautiful species is one of the largest epiphytic Anthuriums in the world. Named after the 18th century Scottish horticulturist, John Veitch. This aroid is native to Colombia, where its 4 to 6-foot long leaves can be seen hanging over the forest floor as the rhizome grows securely fastened against the trunk of a tree. These plants are the progeny of self-pollinating our tremendous narrow-form specimen! Quite easy to grow in the household and a beautiful foliage to add to your interior decor.
Current plants are in 7.5" pots and have the longest leaf averaging at 10+ inches. We expect to have larger foliage by the end of the 2024 summer season.
