This is not the awarded standard form of Mrs. Chase which has a AM/AOS but a different clone we have had since the mid 1980's which was known as fimbripetala 'Mrs. Chase'. This variety is super fragrant especially at night. Rhyncolaelia digbyana are slow growing and it takes years o grow them up to flowering size. Even to have divisions available also takes years. This plant has a silvery cell structure to the leaves to protect it from burning. These can take quite a bit of light and will often show dark red leaves in summer.
