Common Name The Gradually Tapering Point Trigonidium

Flower Size 3/4" [2 cm]

A creeping, medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte that occurs from Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Guyana, Surinam, French Guiana, and Brazil at elevations of 120 to 1500 meters in wet montane forests as a medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with highly compressed, sulcate, light green pseudobulbs with a single apical, light green, lightly twisted leaf that is conduplicate below into the base and blooms through the spring, summer and fall on 1 to more, erect, lateral, basal, 4" [10cm] long, single flowered inflorescence subtended by closely set bracts that arises on a mature pseudobulb and holds the flower at mid leaf.
