Found in Gabon and Zaire in dense evergreen forests and gallery forests around elevations of 1800 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with narrow stems carrying longitudinally folded, linear to narrowly ellipitc, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms on short, single flowered inflorescence held along the stem opposite the leaves
