Found in Dominican Republic in humid montane forests at elevations around 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with an oval, small, prominent pseduobulb carrying a fan of linear to oblanceolate, more or less sickle shaped, serrated margined, narrowing below into the thin petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on a flattened, erect to somewhat spreading, 3.3 [8'5 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence
