Found in southcentral Vietnam along streams and small rivers in shady broadleafed forests on wet alluvial banks and riparian rocks at elevations of 400 to 700 meters as a medium to giant sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with an erect, glabrous stem carrying numerous narrowly ovate, acuminate leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, erect, secund, pubescent, several flowered inflorescence
