Flower Size 3.2" [8 cm]

Found in western Yunnan Province of China on trees in subtropical, montane evergreen forests, at elevations of 2400 to 3500 meters as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte with close set, longitudinally wrinkled, basally rounded, conic to cylindric, carrying 2, linear-lanceolate, 7+ veined, acute to obtuse, narrowing below into the indistinct petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on a synanthous to proteranthous, peduncle to 2.8" [7 cm] long, rachis to 4" [10 cm] long, 1 to 3, successively single flowered inflorescence enveloped below by 3 to 4 straw colored sheaths and has deciduous floral bracts.
