The statue of John Wayne at his namesake airport may be eternally striking the actor’s classic pose, but it had some other posing visitors this week who could almost be statues themselves.

Partnering with the Orange County Register, performers of Cirque du Soleil’s “Kurios: Cabinet of Curiosities,” which is running through Nov. 29 at the OC Fair & Event Center, visited iconic Orange County locations. From John Wayne Airport to the Huntington Beach Pier to South Coast Plaza, the group in their fantastical steam punk costumes added a bit of whimsy to a sunny Orange County day.
