Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form Perennial succulent with a trailing growth habit.
Foliage Boat-shaped, fleshy leaves (2-3 cm long, 1-2 cm wide) are tightly stacked together in a leaning tower-like structure.
Flowers Its flowering stems are long. The solitary flowers are composed of 3 ovate, reddish pink to lilac petals. They last only 1 day, opening at dawn and closing in the afternoon.
