Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form Small agave composed of a rosette of leaves, growing up to 1.5 m tall.
Foliage Long, linear leaves are green with a thick cream-coloured band in the middle, running parallel to the midvein. They have a wavy leaf margin, lack spines, and are arranged in a rosette.
Flowers Greenish white flowers are arranged in a branched cluster known as a terminal panicle. The inflorescence stalk grows up to 7.6 m tall. This species flowers once, and then dies. Plantlets known as bulbils form on the inflorescence.
