Purple Pincer Land Hermit Crab are mainly red and pink, some individuals are red all over, some are light red with purple or orange legs, and there are individual instances of individuals being orange. It is generally believed that their larvae are yellow-brown, and the left chelipeds are pale purple, gradually increasing red as they grow.
