Pancalus yes although I think they are now classified as macrognathus.
Thought to live on the bottom but breed in the plants near the surface. Might be something you can set up for in the future. Not a huge fish and you could have a good chance of a pair.

Yes, thank you. I remembered that after I uploaded this, same with my half banded spiny eels.

This tank has val that reaches and drappes across the surface, along with water lettuce. There is also a range of houseplants being grown under the lid to help with the nutrients and the roots can give somewhere to hide.

There looks to be 2m 2less know and 1f for sure. Two are thin, yellow bellies, brighter fins. Two are thicker but nothing else. And one is really chunky, almost twice the thickness of one of the others, darker, no yellow belly and the tail is not as bright.
