Low Battery Indication If battery is completely discharged or brand new, there could be a few minutes delay before the charging indicator illuminates. This is not an abnormal occurrence. When the battery voltage falls below the working level, RECHARGE BATTERY appears on the graphics display area and an empty battery icon displays in the status bar. With the recharge notification, the phone also sounds a short tone at ten-second intervals.

Text Entry Text entries for messages and Emails are entered in the Draft screen. Text entries for phonebook names, task descriptions, notepad, field entries, etc. are input at the text editor screen.
