Ariel DeLao promoted to Principal at Chipman Design Architecture

Chipman Design Architecture is proud to announce Ariel DeLao's promotion to Principal of the firm. With 20 years of experience in the field of Architecture, Ariel DeLao provides extraordinary expertise for his clients throughout every phase of the Design, Architecture and Construction processes. An expert in commercial renovations, mall conversions and ground-up buildings, Ariel has provided leadership for national accounts at Chipman Design including Red Robin, Chick-fil-A, Houlihan's, Garrett Popcorn, Boston Market and the newest Nutella Café on Michigan Avenue in Chicago.

Throughout his 17 years at Chipman Design, Ariel has worked in nearly every municipality across the country including an expertise in the City of Chicago permit process and code requirements as well as the Canadian codes and municipal requirements. His passion for Architecture is evident in his development of technical details for complex renovations, deft coordination across all consultants and trades as well as mentorship of the firm's up-and-coming staff.

Earning his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Ariel has augmented his degree program with continuing professional studies and international travel.
