Ugly but delicious

This ugly looking Reef Stonefish - Synanceia verrucosa has venomous spines but edible, and actually taste very good!
With the influx of Chinese tourists to Mabul/Sipadan Island, the demand for fresh seafood has increased tremendously. Up to 3 years ago, this Stonefishes were hardly caught for fresh seafood, but of late, it has become a highly sought item and the I have noticed, the catch has become smaller and smaller.
